 we'll show how a U.S. Federal Government Agency's innovative data g
 overnance initiative resulted in real business transformation. This Agency 
 used TopBraid EDG to create knowledge graphs that represented a new data go
 vernance framework. This session will demonstrate how they:\n\n\n
 Used a semantic approach that replaced work done in disparate Excel, PDF, a
 nd HTML documents\n
 Defined glossaries, reference datasets, and technical assets with a small g
 roup\n
 Created a federated collection of interagency data, services, and applicati
 ons\n\nThis new semantic helped the Agency coordinate the terminology, poli
 cy, planning, and on-the-ground activities between agencies, states/territo
 ries, tribal nations, NPOs, and over 3,000 county and local governments. In
  addition, this project helped the Agency see the value of - and path 
 to - a data-centric enterprise, which will reduce the amount of time s
 pent searching for, understanding, and using data to support critical activ
 ities of the Agency and its stakeholders in the future.\n\n \n
